In Fantastic Checkers, players can face off against each other or challenge the computer, which features multiple difficulty levels to test your strategic prowess. The game mechanics are straightforward: to make a move, simply select your checker and then click on the destination square. Remember, all movements should be made toward your opponent's side of the board and can only occur on the dark squares. Each move can be executed diagonally, providing a rich variety of tactical options.
One of the exciting aspects of Fantastic Checkers is the jumping feature. You can leap over your opponent’s checkers in any direction, but only one square at a time. If you find multiple jumping opportunities, you can chain together several moves in succession. A key strategy is to advance your checkers; once a checker reaches the last row of the opponent's side, it is promoted to a "king." This powerful piece gains the ability to move any number of squares, both forward and backward, which adds an exciting layer to your gameplay.
However, be aware that if you have the opportunity to capture an opponent’s checker, you must do so; ordinary moves cannot be executed in such cases. The objective remains clear: eliminate all of your opponent's checkers to claim victory. In the event that a player runs out of possible moves, they concede defeat.
