Welcome to Australian Patience, an engaging addition to our solitaire series where your objective is to strategically transfer all cards to the foundations, organizing them by suit from Ace to King. The game begins with cards placed face-up across the tableau piles, ready for you to initiate your game plan.
Above the tableau piles reside the foundations, which are where the cards must be moved to complete the game. On the left side of the foundations, you'll find a discard pile where cards will be dealt, while the remaining cards, still facing down, create a stock pile positioned to the left of the discard pile. This setup is crucial as you interact with the tableau piles, building down by suit, which adds an interesting layer of strategy to your gameplay.
For a successful move, you'll need to connect cards in the tableau; a card can only be placed onto another if it ranks immediately higher and shares the same suit. For instance, if you have a group starting with a 5 of spades, you can move it to a 6 of spades located in another tableau pile. Additionally, the other cards in your group can vary in suit and sequence, giving you flexibility in your strategy. Note that only a King can occupy an empty tableau pile, adding another rule to consider while planning your moves.
Every successful card movement to the foundation earns you points, enhancing your score as your game progresses. If you find yourself in need of new cards, you can draw from the stock pile. However, keep in mind that no redeals are permitted, so use your stock wisely. The game concludes when the stock pile has been exhausted and no more moves remain. To maximize your score and claim a swift victory, make strategic use of the stock and aim for an efficient gameplay experience.
