Shoot the Stars

In the thrilling game Shoot the Stars, you take control of a space ship positioned at the bottom of the screen, with the ability to navigate a few rows upward. Your primary objective is to eliminate an alien that descends from the top of the screen while evading its unpredictable movements. To shoot the alien, simply press the left mouse button, but you must be cautious as you only have three attempts to succeed. Should you run out of lives, just hit any key to restart the game and try again.

As soon as the game begins, the alien starts making its way down from the top. Each time it collides with a star, it will spin around and change its direction, continuing its descent. Apart from the challenge of targeting the alien, hitting it will cause the impacted segment of the alien to transform into a star, adding another layer of excitement to the gameplay. However, you must keep a close eye on the alien’s movement—if any part of it reaches the bottom, it will bounce back and proceed to make its way towards the top again, making your mission even more difficult.

Moreover, if the alien manages to touch your ship, you will lose a life, ramping up the tension as you navigate your ship using the keyboard. Move right using the right arrow key, left with the left arrow key, up with the up arrow key, and down with the down arrow key. Your quick reflexes and strategic shooting will determine your fate in this engaging battle among the stars. Remember, with each failed attempt, you can quickly re-enter the action by pressing any key to restart. Prepare yourself for an interstellar challenge in Shoot the Stars!
