Successfully matching items triggers a transformation, replacing them with an upgraded version, allowing you to progress through increasingly sophisticated stages.
Players have the exciting option to choose between two items for placement. Simply click 'next' or hit the spacebar to swap your items strategically. It's vital to keep powerful items in reserve for those challenging moments, ensuring you are always ready for the next big move!
Curious about how you stack up against other players? Click 'Points' at any time to access the HIGH SCORES and save your progress. As you delve deeper into Scratch Town, you’ll discover a fascinating progression of items that evolve as you play:
Starting from simple grass, you can advance through a series of upgrades: Grass transforms into Bush, then Tree, progressing all the way up to Hut, House, and Mansion. From there, you elevate even further—from Mansion to Castle, achieving the ultimate Floating Castle and even a Triple Castle!
But that's not all! You'll also encounter a variety of intriguing items throughout your journey. For instance, collect Bears, which can evolve into Tombstones, Churches, Cathedrals, and eventually Chests. Crystals prove to be versatile as they can auto-match with any two similar items, creating a quick trio. However, be cautious; if there's no valid match, the crystal will revert to a mere rock.
As you maneuver through the game, you’ll also utilize Imperial Bots. These handy companions can be placed on any item to effectively remove it from the board. Just remember, consuming a Bear will leave behind a Tombstone, while a Mountain will result in a Large Chest, adding another strategic layer to your gameplay!
