American Football Card Match

American Football Card Match invites players to experience the thrill of one of North America’s most beloved sports, American football. Often called football in the United States and Canada or “gridiron” for its distinctive field markings, this game combines strategy, teamwork, and skill. Teams of eleven players square off on a rectangular field equipped with goalposts at either end, establishing a competitive atmosphere where tactics and physical prowess come into play.

In this unique card game, players take on the roles of offensive and defensive teams. The offensive team, possessing the oval-shaped football, aims to move down the field by either running or passing the ball, while the defensive team works tirelessly to halt their progress and regain possession of the football. Each offensive drive consists of four attempts, known as downs, to cover a minimum distance of ten yards. Should they fail, control of the football switches to the opposing team, igniting a battle of wits and determination on the field.

The goal is simple: score points either by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone, securing a touchdown, or by successfully kicking the ball through their goalposts for a field goal. Players will find themselves immersed in strategic decisions, engaging gameplay, and the sweet anticipation of victory as they strive to outscore their rivals by the final whistle.
