In the whimsical world of "Wall Between US," players step into the shoes of Dona, the Pig, a proud and stubborn leader of his land. Known for his love of golf and his strong will, Dona enjoys peaceful coexistence with his neighboring Kit Foxes until an unexpected incident ignites a feud. While enjoying a round at his favorite course, the Mur-a-logs, Dona's game takes a surprising turn when he discovers that his golf balls keep going missing. Frustrated, he attempts to resolve the situation but instead finds himself in a comical confrontation with a sneaky Kit Fox.
Fuming from the disturbance, Dona swiftly takes action by having the Kit Fox arrested for trespassing, squarely placing the blame on all Kit Foxes and declaring them illegal in Pig territory. The Kit Foxes, bewildered by Dona's harsh response, come together to rescue their imprisoned cousin and restore peace. Amidst rising tensions, Dona rallies his fellow Pigs to fund his ambitious project: building an imposing wall to separate their lands and protect his beloved golf courses. The game kicks off at a basic golf course, where players assist Dona in constructing the first barrier, a flimsy chain link fence standing guard between the two realms.
With each wave of cunning Kit Foxes attempting to breach the fence using various tactics—burrowing, pole-vaulting, and even flying on kites—players must help Dona repel these intrusions. Armed with his trusty golf balls and a special shout ability to blow the Kits away, Dona’s mission is to keep the wall intact, earning bonuses for its health at the end of each level. As Dona navigates through challenges, he faces the constant threat of impeachment if the wall sustains too much damage, leading to comedic and dramatic moments alongside encouraging calls from his fellow Pigs.
Ultimately, players guide Dona towards triumphant victory as he successfully defends Pig territory from the pesky Kit Foxes, solidifying his place as a hero. Completing the game culminates in a grand celebration where Dona is crowned King of the Pigs, receiving the royal treatment at a fabulous parade as he revels in his improved golf skills and newly acquired title.
