In the online version of Uno, which was introduced in 2009 and enhanced with a multiplayer upgrade in 2022, players can compete in real-time against others around the world. To set up the game, each player is dealt seven cards, and the remaining cards form a draw pile. The game begins by turning over the top card of the draw pile to start the discard pile. If this card is a Wild card, players will need to draw a new card to resume the game.
Players can ditch their cards by matching the discard pile’s top card's color or number. If a player has no valid moves, they must draw cards from the pile until they find a playable one. The strategies employed throughout the game can significantly influence your chances of victory, making it both competitive and fun.
