Slimoban is an exciting twist on the classic Sokoban puzzle game, featuring the whimsical addition of slimes that add a unique challenge to your gameplay. In this vibrant adventure, players navigate through various levels, pushing blocks while maneuvering around clever, slippery foes. The goal remains familiar: strategically move the boxes to their designated positions, but the added presence of slimes and monsters creates an engaging and dynamic experience.
There are three distinct types of slimes you'll encounter throughout the game, each with its own behaviors and challenges. The green slimes are stationary, making them a bit easier to manage. While they cannot be destroyed using fireballs, these pesky blobs can be pushed into the water, effectively removing them from your path. In contrast, blue slimes are far more aggressive; they actively chase the main character, presenting a formidable threat. Fortunately, these blue slimes can be vanquished with fireballs—if you can time your shots correctly—or they can also be tossed into the water, just like their green counterparts. Lastly, the red slimes are relentless in their pursuit, needing to be pushed into the water to eliminate them, as they are invulnerable to fireballs.
A unique mechanic in Slimoban involves fireballs, which not only serve to eliminate slimes but can also be used to interact with blocks. This means players can harness the power of fireballs to strategically move blocks around the environment. If these blocks fall into the water, they will disappear, taking the water with them. Players must think carefully about their actions, as certain slimes can also sink, leading to interesting combinations of strategies. Additionally, magic bottles containing fireballs and keys can meet the same fate, adding further layers to the gameplay experience. With a total of 30 challenging levels, players will find themselves grappling with intricate puzzles and devising clever tactics to outsmart their slimy adversaries and successfully complete each stage in this captivating game.
